Divisional Series

Jayden's baseball team, sponsored by the Mega Coney Island, referred to themselves as the "Rockstars" all season long. Tonight the Rockstars took on the Holly Kiddie College in the Divisional round of the Rookie League playoffs. Despite my best intentions, I wasn't able to make it to what turned out to be Jay's last game of the season. As has been the problem lately, Jay's team struggled at the plate, making it tough to drive in the runs needed to secure a victory. Jay was the exception today, as she went 2-2 with both hits being singles. Nobody was able to drive her in though, as they went scoreless today. They played good enough defense to hold the college kids scoreless in the first, but from that point on it was all them. They went on to score 10 runs overall, knocking the Mega Coney Island Rockstars out of the playoffs and ending their season.
