Third Place Game

Home Up

June 25th, 2016

The Knights found themselves in the Third Place game, playing for a medal, against the Jumpin' Crocodiles. Their previous contest was a close game, but the Knights seemed to be tired and deflated after their previous defeats. They struggled on offense, trailing 5-1 at halftime. The second half didn't prove to be a change of pace, as they wound up losing the game by an 11-3 score.

Although the tournament didn't end the way anyone had hoped for the London Knights, it was a good return to hockey for Drew. He got a chance to get used to his new skates, get used to pushing himself up and down the ice, and get a feeling for game speed and the shape he is going to need to be in. Two goals on the day weren't a bad consolation prize for him either!
