    Drew made his return to the ice with the '05 Lapeer Storm today after a year away from the team. Although he still has some work to do in gaining back some speed, he played a decent game overall today. He has been practicing playing defense during the practices so far, but he spent the entire game today playing right wing. He ended up being credited with two assists today, on the fourth goal (first in second period) and seventh goal (first in the third period). The team played a strong overall game today, with several players being credited with goals. They got out to a strong start and were never really threatened throughout the contest. When all was said and done, the team secured a win in their first game of the season with an 8-5 victory.
