    For Tara, it had been a whole year (with the exception of the 2016 CANUSA games) without being able to watch Drew play hockey with the ’05 Storm. Today the team took to the ice and came out strong, grabbing an early 1-0 lead. Yet, they fizzled quickly too. By the end of the first period, and several goals by the opponent, the team had given up the lead and trailed by 2 goals, with the score 3-1. From then on it seemed as though no one knew how to skate nor handle the puck. Entering the second period it was apparent that the Storm was not there to play. The Jackson team managed to score 2 more goals, adding to the lead while shutting out the Storm in the second. With one period left, you could tell the boys had lost all desire to be playing the game. They muddled through the third period, gave up three more goals, and ended the game with an 8-1 loss.
