    This wasn't exactly how Tara's birthday was supposed to take place, but unfortunately this was as good as it was going to get this year. All of this back and forth from Michigan to Florida has taken it's toll financially, and a big party and gift was off the table. I felt pretty terrible about it, but Tara seemed happy that we were able to be together on her special day. She did get a couple of gifts, of which I have no pictures. She got a bracelet and a crocheted sea turtle blanket. Maybe someday I'll remember to get pictures of them and add them to the page.

    Happy birthday Tara. I love you with all my heart. You are truly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, and without you I wouldn't be where I am today. Always. Forever. Completely.
