Game 2

After grabbing an early lead but surrendering it late in the first game of the doubleheader, Drew and his Holly Bronchos teammates knew what to expect in the second game. They came out prepared, shutting down the Foutch's team in their half of the first inning. Drew took his turn on the bench for this inning, and didn't get to the plate in the bottom of the inning, though his team did manage to plate a run to once again grab an early 1-0 lead.

Drew ended up playing in left field for the remaining four innings, and didn't really see too much action, aside from a couple of ground balls that made it through the infield. Although Holly didn't give up, they were no match for the Foutch's teams offense. Innings of 2, 4, 3, and 6 runs gave them a big lead, while Holly was only able to answer with single runs (or none in the case of the fourth inning). Drew got two at-bats in this game, striking out and drawing his third walk of the day. All in all this was a frustrating game for the Bronchos players, and you could see that they were tired and ready to call it quits as the game wore on and their deficit expanded.

By the time this one ended due to the time limit, Foutch's had beaten Holly by a 15-4 score.
