Today's game was on the schedule for both teams, but apparently not for the referees who were supposed to work it. The two coaches decided to play anyway, as a scrimmage, since they were already at the field braving the rain. There was a slight delay due to thunder, but once that passed it was game on.

With the coaches making the calls from the sideline, the Liverpool girls went to work. They scored the lone goal in the first half, and scored the next two in the second. A late Royal Oak goal kept the game from being a shutout, but it was still a 3-1 victory for Liverpool!
