Game 2

Jayden had to miss the first game of the fall season for her Liverpool FC team, as we had a family function that we couldn't miss, so today marked her first official regular season game with the team. The girls traveled to Rochester Hills to take on the RSC Lightning.

Things got off to a bit of a slow start for Liverpool, as the Lightning girls dominated the puck for the majority of the opening half. They were indeed the team to take advantage of their ball possession, as they scored the lone goal of the half to lead Liverpool 1-0 when the halftime whistle blew.

The second half was more favorable to our Liverpool girls. They scored the opening goal of the half to know things up at one goal apiece. They maintained control throughout the majority of the second half, using their possession skills to add on two additional goals, opening up a 3-1 lead that they would hold on to until the end of the contest.

The 3-1 victory evened up their record at 1-1 after a narrow defeat in yesterday's opening game. One more game this weekend, later this afternoon... Go LFC!
