Jayden played in her second game today, while her teammates were
going for game number three in the afternoon's contest against
Canada BR. Unfortunately there isn't much positive to say about this
game. The girls trailed early on and couldn't get themselves going
at all in the first half. By the time the whistle blew, the score
was already 4-0, with Liverpool on the wrong side of the deficit.
The second half was only slightly better, as the girls were at least
able to get some semblance of attack going. They managed to score
two goals in the half, which by itself isn't too bad, but they also
struggled to stop the Canada girls, giving up three goals in the
process. When the match was over, it was all Canada on the
scoreboard, winning by a score of 7-2. I want to apologize for the
lack of pictures, but for some reason a bunch of them turned out
blurry. It also didn't help that Jay was on the far side of the
field and there were usually girls blocking our view of her... |
