Game 9

Jayden and her Liverpool teammates took on the Belle River football club, on a chilly afternoon. The girls seemed to really struggle in the first half, as the opposition seemed to dominate the action from whistle to whistle. Jay started the game, and she did her best to keep the Belle River team off of the scoreboard. It wasn't until she subbed out that the lone goal of the half was scored, on a shot that sailed high and wide over the Liverpool keeper.

It seemed as though a switch was flipped in the second half, though, as the Liverpool girls controlled the ball and made the most of their chances. They would go on to score two goals in the half to take the lead, and their defense did what they could to help them keep it. They managed to do just that, as they went on to seal the deal and win by a 2-1 score. Great job girls!
