Tonight's game resulted in a tough loss for Samantha and her Holly Thunder teammates, as they fell to the Ball Handlers in a tough game by a 4-3 loss. Holly fell behind three goals early in the game before finally settling down defensively. It took them some time, but with just under 15 minutes remaining in the game the girls started to claw their way back in to the contest. Sam got them on the board first, with a line drive shot from along the wall. Two more goals 90 seconds apart brought the game to a tie, with the two teams each scoring three goals. It appeared that they were going to end the game that way as well, but a late Ball Handlers goal gave them a lead that would stand up until the final buzzer.
