Samantha and her Venice Indians teammates would face the Gulf Coast sharks in tonight's contest, the second of the season for the Indians. This was kind of an odd game, as the Indians would hold a lead in overall shots on goal (11 to 7), but the score was nowhere close to being that even. In fact, the Indians would cruise to victory, scoring on over half of the shots that they took. They would three goals on five shots in the first half, as they would go into break with a 3-0 lead over the Sharks. The second half would be very similar to the first, as the Indians would score three goals on six shots, widening the lead to 6-0. The Venice goal keeper was feeling it tonight, as she would make the save on all seven shots that she faced, giving the Indians a shutout victory in game number two on the season.
