Drew, making his comeback from his sprained ankle, travelled
with his Bronchos teammates to take on the Zemmer squad. The game
got off to a slow start, but Drew made his entrance with just under
a minute to play in the quarter, with his team trailing 6-10. He
helped them fight back to narrow the gap to 8-10 before the buzzer
sounded. Drew got to stay on the court to start the second
quarter, playing for just under two minutes. The team trailed 8-13
at that time. The gap only widened for the rest of the quarter, as
they would go on to trail by 7 at halftime, down by a score of
21-14.
While Drew didn't get off the bench in the second half, his
teammates were able to get hot in the third quarter. They whittled
away the Zemmer lead, and tied the game at 27 all before it ended.
The Holly boys stayed hot in the final quarter, scoring 19 points
while holding Zemmer to only 11, giving them an 8 point come from
behind victory! |
