Game 3

Drew and his HoneyBaked teammates returned to the rink for their second game today, and third of the Grinder Tournament. After losing their first two games, they were hoping to reverse their fortunes in this contest. The first period was slow one, as penalties on both teams hindered both teams momentum. While all of the man advantages should have provided more scoring opportunities, neither team was able to beat the other's goaltender, and the score was tied at zero when the period ended.

The HoneyBaked team was able to break the ice, scoring their first goal of the game just a minute into the second period, thanks to an assist from Drew. They struck again two minutes later, grabbing a 2-0 lead that would last through the end of the period.

The HoneyBaked players came out fast in the final period as well, scoring their third goal of the game 75 seconds in. The game would end with a rash of penalties, with HoneyBaked killing off the majority of them. The 3-0 score would last until the final whistle, and the HoneyBaked team skated off the rink with their first victory of the tournament.
