June 7th, 2018

This year marked our final field day at Patterson Elementary. Being the youngest, Jayden wraps up our experience with this event over way too many years. Although this isn't as competitive of a day as it used to be, Jay and her friend Marissa had fun making it through all of the events. I took way too many pictures, and most of them can be seen below...

Patterson Elementary Field Day

Jayden and her classmates making their way outside for the beginning of Field Day.

Jay waving to the camera!

Jay getting her harness on so that she could...

...make her way up the rock climbing wall.

Jay getting ready to come down after reaching the top...

...and then rappelling down.

Marissa and Jay competing in the 'Jump Rope' challenge.

A closer look at jump as she jumps rope.

Jay getting ready to leap at the 'Standing Long Jump'...

...and flying through the air...

..and landing firmly.

Jay winding up for the throw at the target during the 'Football Throw' event...

...and letting the football fly...

...and hitting the target.

Jay getting ready to throw attempt #2...

...and flinging the ball...

...and nailing the center of the target...

...and celebrating as the ball hits the floor.

Jay taking attempt #3...

...and putting all her effort into the throw...

...and hitting the target once again...

...and watching as the ball falls to the floor one last time.

Marissa facing off against Jayden at the 'Cup Stack Race'...

...as the two race to beat each other...

..with Jay coming out on top.

Jay and Marissa holding a rematch...

...which Jay also won.

Jay smirking for the camera in the gym.

Jay slapping the puck in 'Slap Shot Hockey'...

...and following through with her shot.
