Game #2

Thankfully Samantha and her FC Sarasota teammates came ready to go, and they got off to a quick start, scoring on their very first shot of the game, grab an early 1-0 lead just moments in. They didn't slow down, either, continuing to apply pressure and take their shots on goal whenever a good look arose. Midway through the half they would tack on another goal, widening the lead to 2-0. Sam would play about 25 minutes before coming out to give another player a chance to be seen by the coaches in attendance. While she was cheering her team on from the bench they would score once again, giving the Sarasota girls a 3-0 lead that they would hold until halftime.

The second half was a much more defensive oriented affair, but it was once again FC Sarasota that would strike first, scoring on their first shot of the half once again, making it a 4-0 game. There were two more shots on goal - one from each team - before another goal would be scored. This would once again come off the foot of a FC Sarasota player, on the last shot of the game, making the score 5-0. The game would end with that score, as the FC Sarasota team would move on to a 2-0 record. Way to go girls!
