Game #17

"Today, the JEB team faced the Panthers on our home ice. The game was an intense one with the Panther's scoring the first goal quickly in the first period.

Entering the second period, another goal was made by the Panthers off our goalie with limited effort to save the shot. Elton carried the puck but it bounced off the goalie, with Drew digging the puck across the line under the goalies skate blade. Taking the score to 1-2. Shortly after, the Panthers came back and scored two more goals, making the score 1-4 just before the end of the period.

Entering the third period, and after a weak save attempt increasing the score 1-5, Coach decided to make a change in the net and put in our backup goalie to finish out the period. The Panther's scored once again leaving the game final 1-6.

Although we've faced this team several times before, we just couldn't seem to pass the puck well enough to gain possession throughout the game. All in all, we have improved every time but this time, you could see a shift in teamwork between defense and our goalie."

The Everblades were seriously outshot in this game, while the Panthers would tack on an additional goal to make it a 6-1 Everblades defeat.
