Game #1

9:45am
Hertz Arena - Estero 1st 2nd 3rd Final
14UA Florida Jr. Everblades 0 1           0 1
Atlanta Phoenix 1 1    1 1 1 1 1 7

While Rodney was off taking care of today's hockey games, I had the pleasure of watching Drew's two hockey games. The first contest was against a team from Atlanta, the Phoenix. They really had no business in our division this tournament but nonetheless we faced them with much fury and strength. Quickly, within the first few minutes of the game they managed to sink two goals with a score of 0-2 at the end of the first period.

Entering the second, the Everblades found themselves with a great scoring opportunity in front of the net and sunk it for their first and only goal of the game. By the end of the second the score was 1-6 with our boys feeling tired and defeated. The Jr. Everblades managed to hold the Atlanta Phoenix to 1 goal in the third, rounding out the game 1-7 and our first loss of the tournament.
