Unfortunately I had to miss tonight's game due to work, and it seems as though I missed a good one.

Although it took a while, Riverview got on the board first, with Drew scoring the games opening goal just under 8 minutes in. Unfortunately the lead lasted less than a minute, as Leto knotted the score at a goal apiece. That would be it for the opening period, as the two teams would head to the second tied at 1-1.

The second period was back and forth for a while, but this time it was once Leto who scored the periods first goal four and a half minutes in, grabbing their first lead in the process at 2-1. It took some time, but Riverview was able to tie things up almost three minutes later, and then retook the lead 90 seconds after tying it. The 3-2 score would last to the final intermission.

The Ice Sharks widened their lead just 27 seconds into the final frame as Drew netted his second goal of the game, making it a 4-2 score. Riverview would add one final goal late in the period, making the final score 5-2. Way to go Sharks!
