I didn't get to attend tonight's game due to work, and the
scorekeeping wasn't exactly clear to me, so I don't have any
information to provide to recap the action. I'm not even sure that
the goals by period are correct! Based on the text updates from
Tara, here is what I have to share:
The game was tied 1-1 after the first period, but I am not sure
who scored first and who tied the game up. The Tampa 92's scored the
lone goal of the second, making it a 2-1 game after two. Riverview
scored another goal in the third, but the 92's scored three (and
again, I am not sure of the goal order), making it a 5-2 final.
Drew got two shifts in each of the first two periods, and I
believe a single shift in the third. Regarding that shift in the
third... Tara thought it was due to a lack of effort in getting
back, but Drew contends that with two defenseman back already he
didn't need to go deep into the zone (which is probably the case, as
he is a wing and not a defenseman or center). Regardless, it wasn't
his best game, nor was it his team's best game.
If the league ever updates this game on their website, I will
update mine here! |
