I didn't get to see tonight's game due to work, but from the score it doesn't really appear that I missed much. I don't have much of a sense of the game action, other than things definitely did not go the way of the Ice Sharks. The Durant Cougars would score on their first two shots of the game, and would add a third goal to take a 3-0 lead into the first intermission. Two additional goals in the second period would widen the Plant lead to 5-0, which would hold until the second intermission. Plant would score a single goal in the third period, giving them a 6-0 lead that would hold until the end of the game. Definitely not the type of effort that the Riverview coaches were looking for.
