Jayden and her Florida Hawks teammates played their second game
of the day this afternoon, this time taking on the Plant City FC.
From the feedback I was given this was a relatively boring game to
watch, as the majority of the game was played in the middle of the
field. It appears that most both teams had relatively even shot
opportunities, and it was the Plant City squad who broke through
first, getting the lone goal of the first half. Thankfully the Hawks
team was able to come up with an answer early in the second half,
knotting the game at a goal apiece. Despite their best efforts,
neither team was able to score for the remainder of the game,
leaving the score at 1-1 when the final whistle blew.
Two games
into the Brandon Cup, and the Florida Hawks find themselves with one
draw and one loss. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow... Go Hawks!
