Daytona Beach

Tara was flying in to Orlando Sanford International Airport this evening, and since we were intending on spending tomorrow at Walt Disney World already Drew and I decided to make a day out of our trip to the airport by heading towards Daytona Beach to hit up our favorite gas station - Buc-ee's! We made a pit stop in Orlando on our way over to look at a car that Drew had his eye on before finishing our trek to the East Coast. We had a little bit of extra time while we were in Daytona Beach, so we made the drive past the Daytona International Speedway and well as the drive out to the beach, although we didn't go down and drive on it. We got to take in the sights for a bit before having to head off to the airport to pick up Tara. We decided that it would be fun to spend the night over here sometime and get up for a sunrise on the beach - something different than our usual sunset on our side of the state!

		Drew and I also made our way to the famous beach at Daytona Beach, stopping at Sun Splash Park to take in the sights and watch the cards drive by. The beach sustained a fair amount of damage from last summer's hurricanes, and was yet to be repaired...
