Up next after the Nature Games was Outdoor Cooking. The
kids were given the option of making either a grilled cheese sandwich, a pizza,
or an apple pie, all in a pie iron. This wasn't too exciting for Tyler, as we
already make pizza in ours quite a bit while camping. They also had an
opportunity to eat a baked potato off of the fire if they were interested. After
everyone had their turn at cooking, they got a chance to make a s'more. Yes,
they used kosher marshmallows.

After cooking we had some free time before dinner, so the
counselor taught the kids a new game to play.

One team has to run out and steal the ball, which is sitting
5-10 feet away from the other team, and get it back to their end of
the field before the other team tags them out. The kids really
			enjoyed this game.

After our, ahem, dinner, we headed back to the hockey rink
before our evening activity.

Our final activity today was the Mock Olympics. This was
the one event where the kids parents could join them at camp and see what they
were doing. Despite the heat inside the outdoor gym (the walls were about 8 feet
tall, the gap between it and the roof was covered with netting), the kids seemed
to have a lot of fun. The parents who attended were slightly disgusted by the
cleanliness of the gym, however. The drinking fountain was covered in bird crap,
and the floor had it's share as well, in addition to a ton of dust. Let's just
say that there was a lot of rushing back and forth with hand sanitizer during
this particular activity.

This event consisted of teammates that had to hold hands while
passing a hula hoop from one end to the other and back without
letting go. That meant that each kid had to contort their body
through the hoop to get it to move to the next person.
