After taking a minute to rest and gather up the strength
that we would need, we made the climb to the top of Arch Rock to take in the
view. I didn't count the steps, but there were a lot of them, and most of them
made me feel like I was drunk as I tried to climb them. They definitely made me
lean to the side as I walked, and it wasn't an encouraging feeling as I made my
way up. I know that some of the others felt the same way!

Because she couldn't make the climb up the stairs to the top of Arch Rock due
to sore knees, my Mom spent her time on lower ground exploring. She found a spot
that she thought would make for a good photo op, so we took a bit of time to
take some pictures of the kids there. Here area couple photos from this
spot, with many more available on the next page...

This seagull was sitting atop this cairn (a man-made pile of
stones... they can be found all over the island, some very ornate
and complicated) for the longest time, just people watching.
