We decided to have an early dinner at Williams Inn in Harbor Beach. As I have in the past, I took a few photos of some of the buildings surrounding the restaurant, as well as some shots of the kids on a rock near the parking lot.

Williams Inn

This shack is located behind the house next door to Williams Inn, and hasn't changed much since 2008.

This old shack is located across the street from the Williams Inn. It too hasn't changed much since 2008 - or 2010 - except the yard looks like it has been let go, and there are now no-trespassing signs posted on the chain across the front near the road.

Drew wanted his picture taken atop this rock, but Samantha was more interested in trying to scare him with the crab claw she pilfered from somebody's plate.

Sammie showing off her crab claw as she and Jayden watch the cat pass by. The kids always remember the "Williams Inn cats".

Drew, Tyler, Jay, and Sam (and the cat) having their picture taken on the rock beside the Williams Inn parking lot.

On our way back to the campground we stopped at White Rock Park, a spot that Tara & I have been taking the kids to for quite some time (at least since 2006, based on the pictures that I found). We have been taking pictures of the kids sitting on a downed tree here every time that we stop, but someone decided to attempt to burn it since our last visit. We managed to roll it over and have the kids sit back a bit for this years photo.

One other change this year compared to past years is the water level. Nobody expected it to be too high based on the high temperatures and low rainfall this summer, but the kids were able to make their way 50-75 feet out into the water just by walking on rocks. You can see in the pictures just how low the water is...

Tired of waiting for water, Sam decides to use the pump as a footrest so she can tie her shoe.

Down on the beach, Sam, Jay, and Tyler explore an area that is usually underwater during our visits here.

Another look at the kids getting ready to wade in after Sam.
