After watching the parade and heading home to change, we headed over to our friends house for an afternoon filled with swimming. Brian and Colleen were gracious enough to host four additional families in addition to their own for not only swimming, but also a pot luck feast that included BBQ ribs and grilled chicken. I know for a fact that when the time came for us to leave to stake our spot for the fireworks that everyone was disappointed to have to get out of the pool and stop munching on goodies! Although the skies were partially cloudy, it was a great day for a swim!
