| After the '05 Lapeer Storm was forced to go their separate ways,
Drew worked to find a new home for the spring hockey season.
Although he
settled in most comfortably with the 2005 Novi FireCats, he also
wanted to give a new startup team, the Flint Jr. Firebirds II, a
chance
to see how this team compared to the Novi team. Due to schedule
conflicts, Drew has only been able to been able to participate in
once practice with the Firebirds, but he is playing in a tournament
with them during the weekend of May 12th-14th. Below is the schedule for the Hockey
Fights Cancer Tournament that
Drew and the 2005 Flint Jr. Firebirds II will be participating in. Here's hoping for the best,
and go Firebirds!
