Game #3

Each of the periods followed a similar pattern, with penalties being the story of the day, and Ohio scoring the lone goal of each period. In the first it came at the 4 minute mark. It was an Ohio power play goal in the second, with 10:30 left on the clock and the Firebirds penalty seconds from expiring. The third period goal came quick, as the two teams carried over a 4v4 situation from the second. Those goals would be it, as the Firebirds were unable to answer any of the goals.

The loss put the Firebirds record in the tournament at 1-2, and placed them in tomorrow's consolation game.
