Here are some more pictures from the High Ropes.

High Ropes

This is the section of the ropes that Tyler panicked on a little bit, although he wasn't the only kid to do so.

Tyler got himself back to the platform before moving on to the next section of the ropes - this one he was supposed to move from rope to rope while making his way across the cable.

Another look at Tyler on the same section as the previous photo.

A closer look at Tyler trying to concentrate on the task at hand.

Tyler was supposed to jump and swing like Tarzan across to the next platform, but he opted to take the safe way and just walk across. His friend Alex had previously made the jump and ended up with a nasty rope burn on the side of his leg.

Another look at Tyler walking across the Tarzan rope section.

Tyler and Alex trying to transfer their ropes between the cables. Some of the sections of cable was just out of reach from the kids, so that had to carefully climb up some "staples" that were in the trees.

The only way across these two platforms was to jump, and Tyler did so successfully.

Tyler successfully made it to the platform on his feet. His friend Alex ended up crawling onto the platform just before him.

When the kids ran out of time to do any more of the rope sections the instructors came out to help them back to the ladder platform. Tyler had to go across the section of ropes that panicked him the first time he tried them.

Back at the ladder platform, Tyler started making his way back down.

Tyler joined the rest of the group in discussing what they learned about themselves while climbing.

When we finished the High Ropes we moved on to lunch. Today we ate "pizza" and potato chips. The pizza was somewhat edible, although the cheese looked disgusting. Again, thanks to the Jewish rules, we were unable to have a meat topping on our cheese pizza, so we got parsley instead.

Lunch

This is what the pizza looked like. Yum!

After eating we headed off to our first afternoon activity, the Nature Games. This mainly consisted of a bunch of games, but the kids were less than enthused to be running around in the near 90° afternoon sun.

Nature Games

Tyler "swimming" up the river with the other salmon.

This part of the course was to be completed by hopping on one foot, but by the end of the game the kids were basically just walking through it.
